The name Israel was given to Jacob when his thigh
was put out when wrestling with an angel.
The thigh is the area that symbols desire because
of its sexual implications.
So when Jacob let go of his physical desires he became
Israel.
The mythology is saying, that when you enter within
yourself and separate from thought you are separating from
desire and at that time you become Israel.
Israel is made up of three Egyptian words, Isis, Ra, EL
Isis is the feminine or spirit
Ra is the masculine or body and brain
El is God
Thus Israel is body and spirit together with God.
When it happened to Jacob, in Genesis 32:30 he called the
place Peniel
You have a place called Pineal. Jesus termed it the single eye.
